Step 1: Get in Touch
The first step in MJC’s process is simply to get in touch with us to learn more. We’re happy to walk you through what to expect and answer any initial questions.
Step 2: German Language Course
The course has three levels, namely Level A1, A2 and B1 and B2
Each level takes approximately 3 months (B2=4 months) -> teachers can progress students quicker regarding their activity in the LMS online platform. The more a student does individually the quicker he can progress through the level. If all levels are passed the language course will take a maximum of 13 months
Step 3: Connection to Germany via agency
Upon successful completion of the B1 level in German, the application process will commence. If the subsequent interviews with a hiring company in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland are successful, the applicant’s documents will be submitted to the relevant German authorities (e.g., the IHK – the chamber responsible for the applicant’s specific profession).
At this stage, the authorities will determine the appropriate next steps, which may include:
Enrollment in an accreditation course,
Sitting for an accreditation examination, or
Immediate recognition of qualifications (typically applicable to skilled workers).
For applicants who are high school graduates, their academic certificates must be verified by the German government. A minimum grade of C+ is generally required for recognition.
Both the professional recognition and academic verification processes typically take between 3 to 6 months. These processes are ideally initiated during the continuation of the B1 and B2 German language courses.
Please note that this procedure is subject to the decisions and timelines of the German authorities and may be adjusted in accordance with updated government regulations. Recent legal reforms are expected to expedite the overall process.
